How do we create organizations that can learn, adapt, and grow as the demands for skills change faster than ever? In June, we invite you to a solutions workshop on the future of learning. There, leaders and decision-makers will explore how people, technology, and AI can truly interact.

The skills gap is widening. Jobs are available, and people are there, but the requirements are changing at a pace that makes both individuals and organizations risk falling behind. AI is further accelerating development and influencing roles, tasks, and skill requirements long before organizations can adapt.

Against this backdrop, we at Skellefteå Universities Alliance are organizing a solutions workshop focused on how learning can function in an AI-driven era. The work is based on real challenges and collaborative exploration, rather than ready-made models or general advice.

During the days, the work is led by Olof Gränström, a political scientist and economist with extensive experience in analyzing societal development using data in roles as an advisor, project manager, and screenwriter. He has previously worked at Gapminder alongside Hans Rosling and collaborated with organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and IKEA Foundation.

At Skellefteå Universities Alliance, Olof works on analyzing how organizations can understand and navigate complex change, where data, learning, and human behavior play a crucial role.

During the solutions workshop, we work together on questions concerning how learning can become faster, more accurate, and more accessible in organizations. We also explore how AI can be used to support deeper learning, and what is required organizationally for employees to be able to pivot when skill needs change.
