Solutions workshop 3–4 June: the future of learning in an AI-driven age

How do we create organisations that can learn, adapt and grow when skills requirements are changing faster than ever? In June, we are hosting a solutions workshop on the future of learning, where leaders and decision-makers will explore together how people, technology and AI can truly work in concert.
The skills gap is widening. The jobs are there and the people are there, but requirements are changing at a pace that means both individuals and organisations risk losing ground. AI is accelerating this development further, affecting roles, tasks and skills needs long before organisations have time to adapt.
Against this background, we at Skellefteå Universities Alliance are organising a solutions workshop focusing on how learning can work in an AI-driven age. The work is based on real challenges and joint exploration, rather than ready-made models or generic advice.
The work over the two days will be led by Olof Gränström, a political scientist and economist with extensive experience of analysing societal development using data, in roles as an adviser, project manager and scriptwriter. He previously worked at Gapminder alongside Hans Rosling and has collaborated with organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the IKEA Foundation.
At Skellefteå Universities Alliance, Olof analyses how organisations can understand and navigate complex change, where data, learning and human behaviour play a decisive role.
During the solutions workshop, we will work together on questions about how learning in organisations can become faster, more targeted and more accessible. We will also explore how AI can be used to support deeper learning, and what is required organisationally for employees to be able to change direction when skills needs shift.
The solutions workshop is aimed at leaders and decision-makers who want to move from insight to action and who see learning as a strategic issue for the whole organisation. Participants’ experiences and perspectives are central to the work, with the ambition of jointly developing solutions that can be taken further and tested in practice.
The goal is to create the conditions for organisations where people, technology and learning work together, and where existing skills are harnessed and developed in step with change.
This solutions workshop is for experts, strategists, managers, politicians and specialists in skills provision who are committed to driving change. Would you like to take part and contribute your perspectives? Read more and sign up here. Places are limited.
