We develop new ways of connecting academia, industry and society.

Our mission is to make education, skills development and learning more flexible, relevant and accessible – by developing both the range of education and the ways of learning at Campus Skellefteå. With Skellefteå as a testbed, we explore how the education system can meet a labour market where the skills in demand change rapidly. We do this together with companies, universities, higher vocational education providers, public bodies and other partners who want to help shape the future of learning.

Our purpose

To unlock the potential of people, ideas and organisations in order to accelerate sustainable development. We exist to make sure that skills are never a barrier, but instead the main engine of growth.

Our mission

We build and run a dynamic ecosystem for learning. As a meeting place for academia, industry and society, we do three things:

  1. We develop Campus Skellefteå into an attractive and inclusive knowledge hub for both local and global talent.

  2. We drive strategic collaboration through long-term partnerships that secure the region's supply of skills and strengthen its appeal.

  3. We develop the range of education on offer. Together with universities, higher vocational education providers and other education actors, we make sure that programmes meeting the needs of both individuals and the labour market are offered in Skellefteå.
