Erika Lind becomes new development manager at SUA

Business development at Almi, many years in the university world and research on innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises. Erika Lind brings a broad background when she starts as development manager at Skellefteå Universities Alliance in December. Here she will help bring companies and academia closer together.
Erika joins most recently from Almi Nord, where since 2018 she has supported companies in strategic development, transition and growth. She also has a research background from Luleå University of Technology (Licentiate of Engineering in product innovation) and has worked, among other things, with methods for business development and innovation.
Before that, she worked for more than 13 years at Umeå University, including as a manager and project manager. There she developed collaborations between the university, industry and public bodies. Among other things, she led projects in which companies and academia met through degree projects and idea development.
At SUA she will work within Campus Connect, a three-year project that aims to make it easier for companies and individuals to find the right routes to skills, further education and career change.
With her background, Erika is tailor-made for the role – not least in the dialogue with companies, which is about capturing their needs and turning them into concrete collaborations and opportunities for skills development.
