New at SUA: “Communication has to be relevant and interesting”

She calls herself versatile. Not a narrow specialist, but a multitasker with a broad range of strengths that allow her to deliver results across many different areas. With roots in rhetoric and communication, and a talent for finding what truly captures an audience, Ingela Hällsten is now taking charge of communications at SUA.

“SUA is an unusually exciting initiative. We have an important mission linked to the skills supply of the future, at a time when the way we learn is changing rapidly. That means we also need to dare to think differently – about what we learn, when we learn it and, not least, how,” she says.

Ingela has worked with communication in various forms for many years: as a rhetoric consultant, as an editor and as a co-owner of the content agency Happy Content, with a particular focus on the education sector. Among other things, she was a driving force behind the development of Utbildning för framtiden, a nationally award-winning platform that set out to address the lack of long-term digital strategies for distance education in northern Sweden.

“What really drives me is creating content that genuinely engages. By understanding the different motivations people have, we can create communication that doesn’t just inform, but also helps people understand and makes them want to act.”

She now brings her experience in content marketing, rhetoric, SEO and analytics to SUA, combining it with her passion for delivering results and making communication relevant and interesting.
