From LEGO to L’Oréal: now she becomes innovation lead at SUA

We have a new star on board. Susan Blessing has stepped in as innovation lead with a focus on business. With a background at LEGO, Pandora, L’Oréal and If Insurance, she knows how to make innovation happen in practice.

Susan most recently comes from a role as Head of Nordic Customer Offering at If, where she led the work of creating a more customer-centric B2B offering across the Nordic region.

With a wealth of previous experience – including Global Brand Director at Pandora, Senior Innovation Marketing Manager at LEGO, Key Account Manager at L’Oréal and more roles than we can fit in here – you get someone who will make things happen for real.

“It’s fantastic to bring in someone with Susan’s broad experience of innovation and business development, who also has a deep understanding of consumers and a strong drive. She will be an important part of the work to develop new education models and ways of working,” says Peter Mandalh, CEO of SUA.

Susan is originally from Finland but has lived in Copenhagen for the past 12 years. Now she has bought a house in Skellefteå – with a sauna, naturally. But it is not only the sauna she enjoys. She also likes being where the heat is when it comes to new thinking and ideas.

“This isn’t just a change of job, it’s much bigger than that. After 25 years on the same track, my greatest wish was to do ‘something different that also has a purpose’. So now the flat in Copenhagen is sold, and on 1 May I’m moving to Skellefteå, a town known for its courage to think unconventionally. I’m really excited about my exciting new job, and also about fulfilling my dream of getting closer to nature, living in a house – and getting a dog,” says Susan Blessing.

Welcome to Sweden, Skellefteå and SUA, Susan!
